Ken Mendoza was recently featured on the monthly Professional Photography Industry Trade Magazine Professional Photographers of America's PPAMag, in an article that highlights not only his expertise as a photographer but also his innovative use of technology in the field and in client relations.
A Wide Range Of Experience
Ken’s career has encompassed many aspects of photography, from nature and architecture to portraits, elopements, and traditional wedding photography. “I cover a big spectrum,” says Mendoza. “I go from the Christian Louboutin-wearing brides who want the five-star hotel to the wilderness-inspired climbers and adventurers who want to go all over Yosemite and into the wild. It’s super exciting that this variety is even possible. I love to see what clients want and then throw out some suggestions that they might not have even thought of before. Sometimes you can get them to do things they never dreamed they would do.”
With such a broad scope of services, Ken actually maintains three separate photography businesses; Yosemite Wedding Photographers, Duende Photo, and City Hall Wedding Photographers. Yosemite focuses on remote, nature-themed photo shoots in one of America’s most picturesque national parks. Duende Photo provides a wide range of photography services to San Francisco and the Bay Area as a whole. City Hall Wedding Photographers specializes solely on weddings in one of San Francisco’s most stunning venues. This team is prepared with specialized lighting equipment and high-tech editing techniques to ensure the best wedding day photos possible at the venue.
